Hey guys! Don’t forget to enter my giveaway!
Here are some of my top essentials if you want to spice up your style a bit. Leave your requests for future articles in the comments below!
1) Colored Boots
Plum boots such as these are subtle but still standout in a sea of black and brown boots without being too flashy or overwhelming. I think any kind of dark purple booties or red western style boots work best.
2) Interesting Outer-Wear
The sleeves on this jacket are anything but basic and it takes jeans and a tank top to a whole new level.

If you missed my outfit ideas for round one you can read it here.
Round two is generally the most casual day of rush week. Most schools will have you wear a rush week t-shirt and tell you to wear casual shorts with flat shoes.
When picking out shorts make sure the length is appropriate. I would try to stay away from plain khakis or boring shorts since you want to stand out. Also, don’t forget that a lot of dressier shorts have bows and ruffles that might not look right with t-shirts.

I made a Polyvore account (styledbysteph96) and created some 4th of July outfit ideas for you. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
Outfit 1: Retro
Top, Skirt, Wedges,Lipstick, Headbands, nail polish
I love crop tops and skater skirts because you don’t have to mess with tucking your top in. You could trade out the wedges for flat sandals if you are going somewhere more casual. I would wear the red headband but any of them would be cute and you could wear them with the other outfits as well.

College Orientation means a lot a walking and making first impressions on your future classmates and staff members. You want to look casual but still put together. I would not recommend dresses or any shoes with a large heel.
Outfit One: Boho Romper
Romper, Vest,Purse, Sandals
Rompers are a great alternative to dresses and skirts if you want to look a little more casual and you don’t have to worry about a skirt flying up on a windy day and it works if you have to sit on the ground anywhere. The sandals have a tiny wedge which I find more comfortable than completely flat sandals. A small crossbody bag keeps you from lugging around a giant bag all day.
Outfit Two: Feminine Shorts
Tank, Shorts, Necklace, Clutch, Sandals
This look is very girly and polished. Flat sandals are great for walking around all day and the shorts are casual yet classy looking and would stand out in a sea of denim shorts. The shirt would look nice tucked in without being skin tight.
Let me know what you think of the outfits and leave requests for future articles below!
Shoe 1: Lace-up Wedges
These sandals from DSW are perfect because the lace-up front and wedge make it look dressy but the wedge is low enough that they will still be comfortable. Also you could dress them up or down so you would be able to get a lot of use out of them after graduation.
