I’m loving all of the OOTD photos y’all have been emailing me (email@example.com)! I’ll be sure to post one soon! 🙂
1) DISfunkshion Magazine
I had never heard of this magazine until recently, but it’s amazing. It looks kind of homeade and has very artsy photography. All of my friends loved it as well and I even looked over and saw my dad looking at some of the photography. It is somewhat similar to Company Magazine (that I featured in my August favorites article) although it has more photography and Company has more articles.
2) How to Look Expensive by Andrea Pomerantz Lustig
$14.50 How to Look Expensive: A Beauty Editor’s Secrets to Getting Gorgeous without Breaking the Bank Amazon
This book had great tips on how to look amazing on a budget. My favorite part is that it has a huge section after each chapter with her favorite drugstore dupes. I have tried out some of the products she mentioned and loved all of them. She is the Editor in Chief for Glamour Magazine so she has a ton of experience with different beauty products. I’m definitely going to reread it next time I need new makeup. Continue reading January Favorites
Here are my top fashion and beauty resolutions! Leave requests for future articles below and let me know if you are going to try any of these.
My giveaway ends Wednesday so check it out!
1) Clean Out and Organize Your Closet so You can Make the Most of What You Have
My Top Product Picks:
1) Hanger Holder
Organization Store, $19.97
All of my spare hangers always end up in a jumbled mess so this would be very convenient!
2) Scarf Organizer
High Fashion Home, $14.99
This is just too cute and adds will add a little sass and personality to your closet.
3) Multi- Tier Skirt/Pants Hanger
As a college student making the most of space is crucial. I love these to hang up all of my skirts and pants; they save so much room!
If you are a pack-rat like me and have a hard time deciding what items you should keep and which ones you should get rid of try turning all of your hangers the wrong direction and whenever you wear an item turn it the right direction. After a year (or whatever time period you choose) get rid of any items that are still facing backwards.
Also, a lot of clothes don’t fit me right so I end up with a lot of items I like but that need altering so now is the perfect time to get that done! I’m going to try to avoid buying clothes that need altering this year unless they are for a special event but that is easier said than done since I am so petite. In honor of Taylor Swift turning 25 today here’s how you can recreate her signature stye. Also only a couple of more days until the giveaway is over! Let me know if y’all want more of these types of posts and who you would like me to feature next.
Taylor loves plaid and bright outfits. If you look closely you’ll notice in almost every outfit she has a boxy bag that she holds low on her arm so I included those in the outfits as well.
Plaid Scarf, White Cami, Brown Oxford Heels, Navy Blazer, Rust Colored Jeans, Brown Handbag, White Coat, Red Sweater, Plaid Skirt, Navy Purse, Navy Oxford Heels
To get her look mix plaid and equally bright preppy pieces. I included oxford heels since she can have a very classic/ retro style and likes vintage pieces.

1) Glam Fashionista
Skater Skirt, Boots, PJ Top, PJ Bottoms, Hot Rollers, VS Gift Card, Purse, Bare Minerals Kit, Gel Mani Kit, Scarf
I want the gel nail polish kit so badly! I can never seem to make my nail polish last for more than two days and gel manis typically last two weeks! I included the hot rollers because they are highly rated and are clip-less making it easier and faster to get curls. Continue reading A Gift Guide for all of the Girls in Your Life Part 1

1) Cover Girl+ Olay Tone Rehab Foundation
This foundation is one of the best foundations I have ever used. It feels so light but covers really well and leave you skin moisturized and smooth feeling. It looks like you have naturally perfect skin and aren’t wearing any makeup.

1) ELF Healthy Glow Bronzer in Sun Kissed
Purchase it here. I like to use this to contour, but I like it even more as a eyeshadow. I think the color shows up a lot better on your eyes and makes your eyes really sparkle. It’s not too orange for a bronzer either. Some reviews online said the color didn’t show up enough, but I think it’s perfect for a more natural look. Click here to see my original haul and review.
